I started building bird houses about 6 years ago for the love of birds knowing that our little birds would have a safe place to live and raise their young. All the homes are built with refurbished wood and recycled materials. Every home is made and painted by my hand. They are glued and nailed so they are strong and sturdy so they can handle all kinds of weather. The roofs are made with different kinds of materials some of wood and some with metal and the most important thing about the roofs are they don't leak. Nobody likes a leaky roof. They are all hand painted by me. Now the paint is nontoxic also clear coated to protect against all the elements so not only will they last for many years they will stay beautiful.
